Lab Technician, Food Allergens

Onsite, M-F 8am-4:30pm

As a Lab Technician, Food Allergens your responsibilities will include daily analytical benchwork for ELISA analysis of customer submitted samples in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements. This is for our Romer Labs division which offers a broad range of innovative products and services covering mycotoxins, food pathogens, food allergens, gluten, GMO, veterinary drug residues and melamine. www.romerlabs.com

Responsibilities:

• ELISA Test Kit analysis of samples in a contract lab environment

• Compliance with timelines for customer contracts and submitted samples

• Analytical data interpretation

• Data entry into LIMS and performs data pack review functions

• Supervises compliance with QC requirements, with requirements of ISO 17025

• Perform lab bench work required for analysis including solution prep, sample extraction and dilution, and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

  You bring:

• Bachelor's degree in science related field

• Laboratory experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of ISO 17025 standard a benefit

• Knowledge of quality-related regulations

• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize daily tasks
