dsm-firmenich Supply Chain Assistant in Solbergelva, Norway

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our Plant Based Division at the Sales Office in Drammen, Norway.

The Supply Chain Assistant (SCA) will be part of Campus Scandinavia supply chain and commercial back-office team. The SCA will take responsibility for specific tasks as well as provide support to Supply Chain and Sales dealing with a broad range of topics including, receiving customer’s purchase orders, placing orders to suppliers, follow up delivery on time, etc. The SCA shall be responsible for ensuring the ERP systems are up to date and accurate with respect to the sales and customer purchase orders. This is a 6 months Temporary job.

Your key responsibilities• Receive orders from the Customers and place them into the SAP ERP System. • Monitor outgoing shipment dates, orders and order changes. Communicates status information and drives closure on variances between Campus and the customer on a daily basis.• Monitor all purchasing orders and order changes. Communicates status information to Supply Chain and drives closure on variances between Campus and the supplier on a daily basis. • Monitor freight forwarders/collections and status.• Monitor and control all own shipments, ensure the inclusion of all the relevant documentation – DRP – CQ – MSDS- Sanitary documents, Origin Certificates, Custom documents, Packing Lists, etc).• Assist Sales Team with internal problem-solving support. • Assist on samples administration in/out• Assist Finance Department to solve invoicing and shipment documents issues.

You Bring:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent. • 2-3 years of experience, background in the food industry preferred• Basic knowledge in food business, Supply Chain.• Computers knowledge: MS Office Package, ERP’s• Communication: Excellent communication skills in local language as well as in English Language• Customer orientation: In view of the critical customer link, always be professional, courteous and responsive in all customer dealings.• Clerical: Good clerical, administration, and system skills• Problem Solving: Ability to drive resolution to problems and issues in an expedient fashion
