Job title – Senior Application Manager Asia Pacific – Sweet Goods

Location – Singapore

Job model – Hybrid

Reporting to the Vice President for Beverage and Sweet Goods, Asia Pacific, the Senior Application Manager will lead the Regional Sweet Goods (Dairy, Bakery and Confectionery) application team to build expertise, provide application support for internal and customer projects, as well as ensure continuous technical leadership in the Asia Pacific markets.

Your key responsibilities

• Be the regional application lead for Bakery, Confectionary, Dairy and Dairy Analogues, Nutrition

• Manage daily brief-related tasks and apply knowledge during flavor selection, evaluation and application

• Develop and explore application recipes with dsm-firmenich product portfolio (flavors and ingredients)

• Engage with focus clients and establish yourself as a Sweet Goods (Dairy & Dairy Analogues/Bakery/Confectionary) expert

• Work closely with focus clients in promoting dsm-firmenich portfolio as well as offer solutions to challenges faced in client’s production process

• Work closely with category managers and other application leads in the local affiliates to design creative applications and concepts as part of proactive initiatives

  You bring

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field

• 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing and/or ingredient houses

• Deep understanding of various Sweet Goods applications in terms of formulation, ingredients, and processes

• Able to be hands-on and proficient in operating the UHT pilot plant when necessary

• Ability to manage and work well with functional and cross functional teams

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
