As part of this goal, STA is responsible for the key deliverables in building & leveraging of nutrition science, translating science into communication for our customers & consumers and advocating for nutrition.

The Associate Nutritionist STA APAC will be accountable for executing the STA agenda of the APAC HNC organization as set by the Head of STA APAC.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administration and coordination of the nutrition research grant scheme, assisting in the grant selection process, communication with regional and global scientific internal and external stakeholders

  • Support STA topics for the early life nutrition (ELN) segment by working with global ELN stakeholders in adapting material suited for APAC market

    Works in coordination with Legal and Regulatory teams on substantiation of claims and advocacy efforts for human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and ELN topics

  • Support a key health benefit platform important for APAC region, such as eye health. Support the key opinion leaders (KOL) management for the health benefit platform

  • Assist the development of nutrition science and communication strategies in order to support market development and sales of core products and other ingredients

  • Address other customer needs necessary to convince customer of solid scientific rationale for new and existing products and provide recommendations

  • Assist Head of STA APAC in ensuring scientific accuracy and quality of internal and external communications including social media, PR and trade releases, position papers, presentations to customers and presentations at professional meetings

    You bring

  • Masters or PhD degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences or equivalent through experience, knowledge of nutrition, food science, and nutrition evidence required

  • Experience in early life nutrition is preferred

  • 2-3 years of academic or relevant nutrition industry experience

  • A team player with the ability to collaborate across business groups, regions and departments and to establish strong relationships with key external stakeholders

  • Proven capability to work transversally and independently and delivery business impact.
