The Digital Marketing Manager will add value to the business by supporting China's digital strategy* formulation and implementing our aligned strategy within social media and e-commerce environments.

This role will translate relevant market foresights, consumer insights, and olfactive ideas into compelling fragrance and ingredient solutions, promoting them online both proactively and upon client request. By leveraging digital marketing tools and collaborating across teams from commercial marketing, fragrance development, technical, and communication communities, the manager is expected to drive business growth for our Perfumery business in China.

Your key responsibilities

DIGITAL MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

  • Plan and oversee the digital marketing strategy and its implementation.

  • Position DSM-Firmenich as the best-in-class fragrance house in the digital landscape by ensuring the right portfolio of fragrance solutions for the digital market and promoting them accordingly. This includes:

  • Enhance social media communication by generating interesting and highly differentiated fragrance content relating to market, consumers and fragrances for our platform

  • Initiate creative digital marketing projects to maximize business opportunities, such as hosting live streaming sessions, public speaking events and client presentations to promote new fragrance ideas.

  • Develop effective digital promotional tools and monitor their use for continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with third-party agencies to execute digital campaigns

    • Through our digital strategy, we hope to enhance: Aware ( 了解 ), Appeal ( 吸引 ), Action ( 行动 ), Advocate ( 拥护 ).

    DIGITAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of China’s online social and e-commerce channels and brands, including macro trends, consumer drivers, and market dynamics.

  • Consolidate digital market knowledge into actionable insights for internal development and external clients,

  • Be recognized as a digital expert and advocate the importance of China’s evolving digital marketplace through regular sharing and events

    You bring

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Marcom, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent.

  • 4-8 years of management experience within the perfumery/flavor industries or FMCG.

  • Fluent oral and written English capability.
