Director Dietary Supplements North America

Location: Parsippany NJ or NY metro area

Is the idea of finding sustainable solutions that benefit human nutrition and health something that resonates? We seek a strategic marketing leader with business development experience to lead the dietary supplements segment of our business. It’s a dynamic job – are you ready for something new?

Come help us create value for our customers and ultimately consumers through positioning innovative solutions and showcase the scientific power of DSM Nutritional Products. You’ll report directly to the VP Dietary Supplements, Pharma and Medical Nutrition.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead a team of marketing managers who support the complete DSM Nutritional Products portfolio of Vitamins, Carotenoids, Omega 3s and new nutritional Ingredients

  • Develop the strategy for health benefits solutions in the verticals of immunity, gut and brain

  • Work with the sales team to develop the DSH funnel and support the launch of new products in region

  • Develop new channel strategies for the Dietary Supplements segment including e-commerce

  • Steer the development of Market Ready Solutions (MRS) and customized premixes into the market with the sales team for new and existing customers

  • Interface and align with the global teams

    This position is eligible for the Hybrid Working Model, spending 1-2 days per week in the Parsippany, NJ offices and the balance of the week from a US based home office that is commutable to Parsippany.

    What we like to see in your experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of B2B and/or B2C commercial experience with an exhibited progression in roles and responsibilities, including a minimum of 5 years of strategic marketing experience required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing others and leading a team

  • Experience in human health space with dietary supplements experience a plus

  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
