The Sales Director, HNC South Asia is part of the HNC APAC leadership team and is responsible for the following:

  • Define, develop, and execute our business strategy for the South Asia market (India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh) across all our segment,

  • Identify growth opportunities, improve profitability, and drive value creation and solution selling with our customers.

  • Develop and implement country marketing strategies, market development and strategic customer plans.

  • Engage key distributors in the territory for performance and operational excellence, whilst growing our base business through existing and new channels .

    Your key responsibilities

  • Business Planning: Develop and implement the HNC sales strategy, plan and operations, in line with the segment strategy and to achieve both sales and EBITDA targets.

  • Customer Engagement: Support account managers in developing strategic account plans, nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, assist in solution sales, ensure positive customer engagement, and stay updated on competitor and market trends.

  • Sales Management: Monitor sales plan execution, oversee contract negotiations and management, evaluate distributors, maintain project pipeline, and drive growth in the South Asia market.

  • Team Development: Coach and develop the team to deliver high performance and ensure sustainability in leadership. Provide sales coaching and support in ensuring achievement of high sales performance.

  • External and Internal Stakeholder Management: Share market insights to inform decision-making, build and maintain external network, and represent dsm-firmenich positively in South Asia market.

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Food, Dietary Supplement, and/or Pharma industries with market understanding.

  • Minimum 8 years of sales management experience in a matrix organization.

  • Strong business management, sales operations, and team management skills.

  • Experience in account management and commercial activities preferred.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, proactive mindset, and product/application knowledge.
