Job Purpose

• Is to operate and maintain machinery used in the production process.

• Is to ensure that the equipment operates efficiently and safely and that products are produced in accordance with quality standards and production schedules.

  Responsibilities

• Material Handling (raw materials)

• Packaging materials (semi-finished & finished goods)

• Packing products & collecting samples

• Operating all IS systems available (SAP)

• Keeping documents / procedures well organized

• Providing Forklift daily maintenance services when it is necessary

• Operating the stackers safely and any material transport devices necessary for the area

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science

• Problem solving

• Decision making

• Able to follow instructions and production schedules

• Able to act quickly when a problem arises
