Senior Quality Manager
Location: Kingstree, SC

Senior Quality Manager leads the Quality operation of the Nutritional Lipids microbial oil product family, at the Kingstree site and associated toll manufacturers, to ensure compliance to internal Quality Systems and appropriate Regulatory standards. You provide leadership and direction to all Quality Control and Quality Assurance staff on analytical or compliance matters. You are responsible for the food safety and quality of all finished products manufactured, as well as all products produced from third party manufacturers. The position reports into Site Director Manufacturing & Technology.

Your key responsibilities
Lead a team of 5 direct reports and ensure quality of the products manufactured at the Kingstree and toll manufacturing sites
Partner with operations, supply chain and other functions to focus on Quality as a shared responsibility
Drive and support safety, quality, cost, and improvements initiatives at plant site.
Scale up process improvements and new product development aligned with Asset Technology Group and business needs.

You bring
Minimum 10 years of experience in a quality role in food manufacturing; fermentation experience preferred
Experience directly managing others required
Building and maintaining a shared culture of quality and broad knowledge of Quality Management Systems
ability to work well with individuals and groups, provide effective feedback, holding others accountable at all levels of the organization
Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline highly preferred; master’s degree a plus
