Location: The role will be on site in Dalry. Support also needs to be provided to other entities in the United Kingdom, Norway and Denmark.

The role is to act as the first point of contact for all stakeholders on the site(s). Local and regional business need capture & master regional market nuances to accelerate and maximize category strategy implementation and to contribute to the dsm-firmenich Indirect Manufacturing Equipment & Services strategy development. • Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection and contracting process for regional/local spend.

• Lead contract implementation and potential localization and resolve issues in close alignment with Category Managers

• Develop and manage relationship with preferred/approved suppliers and a.o. track/develop their performance (Initiate and conduct supplier performance evaluations).

• Execute/support small capex (< 10MEuro) projects/initiatives for his/her responsibility area in close cooperation with Category Manager

• Support stakeholders using DSM-FIRMENICH (preferred) contracts, executing competitive bids, spot buying or coordinate specification-sourcing process towards category management.

• Monitoring the P2P process and ensuring compliance with agreed Paymet terms

• Manage contracts and proactively initiate renewals or new tenders for existing contracts

• Coordinating the work of the team

  You bring

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in a technical and/or business discipline; Master’s degree preferred

• English language

• Minimum 5 years expertise in either Procurement or Technical Business context. Other industries experience is a plus

• Strategic thinking & creativity
