We are hiring aShift Team LeadLocation: Belvidere, NJ

The Shift Team Lead will focus on improving business performance of the Optima Department through increasing employees’ skill sets and building overall team confidence and capabilities. This leader will delegate, monitor and communicate throughout the team and other shifts.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and analyzing performance and training gaps and designing interventions to address those gaps by coaching, connecting, shaping, and developing the teams by influence and leading by example

  • Ensuring training requirements and the team is in compliance 100% of the time including training on SOPs/Job Aids, and performing Skill Checks as well as scheduling and coordinating classroom training, ensuring delivery of subject matter, providing, collecting, and recording all training attendance rosters

  • Operating and processing equipment in accordance with Key Performance Measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), all safety and regulatory requirements, and divisional goals

  • Operating and Monitoring equipment and process to produce quality intermediates and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan while providing troubleshooting expertise, identifying opportunities for improvement, and optimizing process performance

  • Performing Team Lead-Leader Standard Work including turnover meetings and Gemba walks

  • Learning and utilization of new software tools regularly as well as training other employees on the use of this software

  • Ensuring New Hire Orientation is completed for all new employees on the team in a timely manner

    What we like to see in your experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with process tech degree or equivalent

  • 10 years+ experience in Manufacturing industry

  • Strong computer literacy skills

  • Prior experience in Leadership role

  • Expert communication skills both written and verbal
