DSM and Firmenich are going through a merger. The combined company needs to manage its master data in a consistent way. The Group MDM organization (±40 people) will lead this exercise. The primary tasks of the incumbent are to capture business requirements, and design complete solutions that fit the purpose.

Your key responsibilities
Design Master Data Management processes in own area. Ensure processes are compliant to group Policies. Ensure MDM processes fulfil the needs of – and are validated by – process stakeholders,
Ensure all processes are documented according to standards. Support audits (ISO certifications, customer audits..). Keep metadata assets (data catalog) up-to-date
Support M&A and IT projects (such as ERP implementation) by defining adequate Master Data setup and processes,
Interface with IT to implement technical solutions in backend SAP systems, including mass upload programs,
Provide third level support to MDM delivery teams (what to do if not in the books)
Monitor and follow-up the MDM continuous improvement initiatives in own area. Act as entry point for new request requiring MDM support

You bring
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Master Data Management using SAP systems,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Proficient in process modeling and design with the ability to animate workshops and drive decisions,
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals and to adapt to the audience,
Experience in a multinational company / exposure to diverse cultures
