Quality Control Lab Technician (USA)

Location: Arcadia, WI

On-Site, Monday - Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm)

As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic, accurate, reliable, and timely quality control analyses for raw materials, in-process and finished goods; providing general analytical support to the overall operation; and maintaining the laboratory and equipment in a controlled and sound manner, in accordance with Key Performance Measures, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Samples raw materials, logs the sample receipt, conducts laboratory analysis of the samples, calculates the results, reports the results, maintains the retained samples, records and investigates out of specification results, maintains related computer inventories and databases.

  • Conducts laboratory analysis of finished product samples, calculates the results, reports the results, maintains the retained samples, records and investigates out of specification results, maintains related computer inventories and databases.

  • Follows all SOPs to ensure that each product is tested to the same standard each time.

  • Ensures that specified chemicals and supplies are requisitioned, and adequate inventory maintained to ensure the smooth and continual operation of the QC laboratory.

  • Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.

You bring:

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related science.

  • Experience in a laboratory environment.

  • Previous experience in a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environment preferred

  • General knowledge of quality control techniques.

  • Understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (outlook, word, and excel)
