As a Material Supply Manager, you will play a key role in dsm-firmenich PE operations team. You will support supply continuity, drive projects such as Localization and lead materials replenishment and inventory to best serve our Fine fragrance Experience & Consumer Brands business. You will ensure security of supply, deliver against key performance indicators, drive best practices, coach the team and connect effectively with key internal stakeholders and dsm-firmenich supply ecosystem in full accordance with our Code of Ethics and applicable policies.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver a competitive and symmetrical service, lead time, inventory, cost and organization targets​.

  • Lead region material planning team & activities by implementing a performance driven culture based on continuous improvement and symmetrical SC (cost-cash-service)​

  • Cascade region Material planning the mission & objectives in line with the global & regional strategy to meet business requirements.

  • Ensure supply continuity for raw materials for all PE manufacturing sites in the region / sites assigned.

  • Support Raw Material Localization and Introduction of new sources and new Raw Materials in conjunction with sourcing managers

  • Central point of contact for PE Procurement in the region – Latin America

  • Participate to projects aiming at creating value for the Company (Leadtime Reduction, Productivity, SMI, SMOI, SOI, Forecast Collaboration, etc)

  • Support Global sourcing teams in sourcing portfolio management on assigned category(s) of Raw Materials when crisis (missing parts) arise.

  • Support spot purchases

  • Reports solid line to Material Strategy & Solutions and dotted to Perfumery Procurement

You bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree from University or College in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration, Chemistry, Mathematics

  • Experience in Supply chain management incl Procurement (Flavors & Fragrance industry, Consumer Products, Naturals, or Ingredients business is a plus)

  • Experience in working SAP Procurement / Planning modules; Kinaxis or o9 a plus

  • Must be able to manage challenging stakeholders and strike a balance in functional priorities & needs.

  • Strong at internal and external stakeholders’ management

  • Fluent written and spoken English and Intermediate Spanish is a must.
